New on Netflix October 2026: US Movies and Shows Calendar

New on Netflix in October 2026 brings a busy US watchlist: The Diplomat returns for Season 4 on October 15, Nobody Wants This follows on October 22, and Lupin returns with Part 4 on October 23. Earlier arrivals include East of Eden, Animals and the Boston season of Love Is Blind.

This US-focused calendar was checked on October 15 against Netflix’s official October schedule, Vulture’s October guide and What’s on Netflix’s US list. These are scheduled additions, not a promise that every title is playable on every account. Catalogs vary by country, schedules can change, and some series release episodes in batches or weekly.

What to watch on Netflix this month

For political drama, the next date to circle is October 15: Keri Russell’s The Diplomat returns alongside the Victorious follow-up Hollywood Arts. October 16 brings Chris Evans and Anya Taylor-Joy’s thriller Sacrifice, plus the documentary Norm: The Tale of Norm Macdonald.

The second half of the month has a different rhythm. Nobody Wants This returns for Season 3 on October 22, while Omar Sy’s Lupin reaches Part 4 the following day. Documentary viewers can look ahead to The One About Matthew Perry on October 27 and the SCTV documentary on October 30.

For a Halloween watchlist, the October 1 catalog batch includes Hush, Psycho, The Sixth Sense and Crimson Peak. These are Netflix additions, not newly made films. The calendar below keeps older movies and new originals together by their scheduled arrival date.

Date still to confirm

The Gift of Deceit appears in Netflix’s “Coming soon” section without a date. We are also leaving Balaraw: Blood Island undated: Vulture lists October 29, but What’s on Netflix has conflicting October 15 and October 29 entries. It is better to flag that conflict than give you a firm date we cannot verify.

Is this every Netflix addition?

This is the announced monthly calendar, not a live inventory of everything on Netflix. The service can add licensed titles and regional releases outside its main announcement. Weekly guides may also carry extra entries. Check the title’s Netflix page in your country before planning around a specific release, and check the episode count before assuming an entire season has arrived.

One title-name difference is worth noting: Netflix’s official list calls the October 12 kids series Spike, while independent guides call it Fire Spike. The calendar uses Netflix’s name. For Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 on October 20, the sequel name comes from Vulture and What’s on Netflix; Netflix’s monthly heading is shortened to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
