Why the announcement matters now
The news follows billboards teasing the shows in cities including Chicago, New York, Houston, Vancouver and San Diego last week, Billboard reports. Harris also performed this past weekend at Head Trip, the one-time festival on the Coachella grounds in Indio, California. In September he earned a Guinness World Record for the largest attendance at a DJ set by a single artist, after a February show for an estimated 1.6 million people in Sao Paulo, per Billboard and Pollstar.
