John Boyega Is Married and Expecting His First Child

John Boyega is married and about to be a first-time dad. The Star Wars actor told The Guardian he has been married for “coming up to two years now” and that a baby is on the way, E! News and Essence report.

Per Essence, the reporter noticed a band on Boyega’s ring finger and asked about it. “Oh yeah, this is my wedding ring,” he said. “I’ve been married for coming up to two years now.” He then added that a baby boy is expected. “We got a baby cooking,” Boyega said, according to AOL. “My life is completely, completely fulfilled in terms of family. It’s been so nice with the timing.”

Boyega did not name his wife, Essence says. He did say the couple had a small ceremony and hope to hold a larger gathering later. Essence adds that fans have guessed at who she is since earlier this year, but those guesses are unconfirmed and we are not repeating them here.
