Yellowjackets Season 4 has a new teaser, and getting out of the wilderness is only part of the story. Paramount+ released the footage on October 14, showing the rescued survivors facing life back home ahead of the show’s fourth and final season.
The season premieres Friday, November 20, on the Paramount+ Premium plan. Variety reports that the teenage survivors are returning to New Jersey after 19 months away. Deadline also confirmed the release date and published the new teaser.
Yellowjackets Season 4 teaser turns rescue into a new problem
The series began with a high school girls soccer team whose plane crashed in the remote wilderness. It has followed both their struggle to survive and the adult lives they built nearly 25 years later. The new footage brings the aftermath of rescue into focus: returning home does not erase what happened in the woods.
Deadline describes a teaser that opens with the survivors recounting the crash, their friends’ deaths and the hunger they endured before being found. The season’s official description says the survivors are racing to hide their sins before rescue arrives, while an old flame returns with plans of her own.
That sets up a final season about consequences as much as escape. The teaser offers a look at the homecoming, but it does not settle the show’s remaining mysteries.
Who returns for the final season?
Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci and Tawny Cypress return alongside Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Samantha Hanratty, Courtney Eaton and Liv Hewson. Hilary Swank, Warren Kole, Kevin Alves, Sarah Desjardins, Nia Sondaya and Jenna Burgess are also in the season’s cast.
Variety lists June Squibb, Elijah Wood, Molly Ringwald, Devon Sawa, Sam Braun and Dulé Hill among the guest stars. Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, the show’s co-creators, remain its showrunners. Lionsgate Television produces the series for Showtime.
When and where to watch
The November 20 premiere is still ahead. Previous seasons are available on the Paramount+ Premium plan, according to Variety. Today’s update is the new teaser, not an episode release or a newly announced premiere date.
