Carrie Season 2 Is Official

Prime Video renewed Mike Flanagan's horror hit after it hit No. 1 in more than 105 countries.

The Cliffhanger

Season 1 broke from the book: Carrie survives prom night and drives out of town. The new season picks up from there.

Who Is Back

Summer H. Howell returns as Carrie White, the role she won after nearly 1,500 actors read. More prom survivors are expected.

The Numbers

1.26 billion minutes watched in week one, topping Nielsen's streaming chart. Prime Video's YA renewal streak stays perfect.

Beyond the Prom

"We imagined a story that goes far beyond the prom," Flanagan says. Stephen King: "It's bound to be thrilling."

When Is It Out?

No date yet. Season 1 took about 18 months from casting to premiere, so late 2027 is our earliest guess, not a promise.
