Meghan Markle Helps Design a $100 Charity Sweatshirt for Moms Offering More, and It Sells Out

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, helped design a limited-edition $100 sweatshirt for the charity Moms Offering More. It launched Oct. 11, International Day of the Girl, with “It’s the Little Things” on the back and sleeve, InStyle and Hello report. The sweatshirt sold out within hours, according to Hello.

What the sweatshirt supports

InStyle, citing People, says all proceeds go to mothers and families in need in the U.S. and Canada. The campaign supports the Alliance of Moms and was done with Archewell Philanthropies, the foundation Meghan runs with Prince Harry. Moms Offering More founder Kasondra Herrendorf Cohen told People that Meghan “was involved from the start” and helped pick the neutral colors.

Hello describes the design as a neutral tone with the words embroidered in chocolate brown. Meghan, 45, promoted it on Instagram, where she wrote: “We share one intention as parents: a safe and loving future for our children.”

Why it matters

It is a small charity item, but it adds to a busy week for the Sussexes’ philanthropic work. Earlier reports covered her tie-up with Malala Yousafzai for the Malala Fund through As Ever. This one is tied to the Alliance of Moms, co-founded by her friend Kelly McKee Zajfen, per InStyle.
