Glee streams on both Disney+ and Hulu in the US, all six seasons. That is the listing on JustWatch as of Oct. 22, 2026, and What’s On Disney+ says the same. There is no free option right now, and if you would rather own it, JustWatch shows Amazon Video and Fandango At Home for purchase.
The question is back in search because Disney+ and Hulu just ordered a reboot, per Deadline. If you want to catch up before anyone is cast, here is the practical version.
Where can you stream Glee in the US right now?
Two places. Disney+ and Hulu both carry the full original run, per JustWatch and What’s On Disney+. Deadline notes the show currently streams on Hulu. If you already pay for the Disney+ and Hulu bundle, you do not need anything new.
Streaming deals move around, so check the app before you plan a weekend. We verified the listings above on Oct. 22 and will update this page if they change.
How many episodes are there, and how long is a full rewatch?
There are 121 episodes across six seasons, per the season counts on JustWatch.
| Season | Episodes |
|---|---|
| Season 1 | 22 |
| Season 2 | 22 |
| Season 3 | 22 |
| Season 4 | 22 |
| Season 5 | 20 |
| Season 6 | 13 |
JustWatch lists an average runtime of 49 minutes for the series and 46 minutes for Season 6. By our math, that is roughly 99 hours for the whole thing. At two episodes a night, you finish in about 61 nights. At one season a week, you are done in six weeks. That is our arithmetic, not an official figure and it assumes every episode runs at that average.
Can you watch Glee for free?
Not legally, as far as JustWatch shows. It lists no free, ad-supported option in the US. Your choices are the two subscription services, or buying episodes or seasons on Amazon Video or Fandango At Home. If you are not subscribed yet, a full rewatch at about 99 hours is unlikely to fit in one month for most people, so factor that into the cost.
Where should you start if you only have a weekend?
Start at the pilot, which first aired on Fox in May 2009, per Variety. The show sets up the New Directions glee club at William McKinley High School in Lima, Ohio. Variety lists covers of “Don’t Stop Believin'” and “Teenage Dream” among the show’s best-known musical numbers, and says the music averages 4.1 million monthly Spotify listeners today.
If you only want the end, Season 6 is 13 episodes and closes with “Dreams Come True,” per JustWatch. Our view, as analysis: a finale lands harder when you know the club’s history, so a skip-ahead viewer will get more from Season 6 after at least a few early episodes.
What should you know before you press play?
Each episode featured a musical performance, per Deadline. JustWatch lists the series as TV-PG. Variety describes the show as known for tackling sexuality, race, disability and mental health in blunt, sometimes controversial ways, so it is worth previewing before you queue it up for younger viewers. The series won six Emmys during its run, per Deadline.
Is the Glee reboot streaming yet?
No. Disney+ and Hulu ordered it on Oct. 21, but no cast, premiere date or episode count has been announced. We lay out what is and is not confirmed in our Glee reboot explainer. If you are tracking other Disney+ premieres, our VisionQuest release schedule lists every episode date.
