Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber were photographed holding hands on a walk along Malibu’s Zuma Beach on Saturday, October 10. Page Six and TMZ describe it as the couple’s first public outing since the death of their son, Presley Gerber.
Page Six reports that the couple wore matching white tops, ball caps and sneakers. Crawford wore black yoga pants and Gerber wore black shorts. Photos of the walk were published by TMZ.
Clooney’s comments
The sighting came a day after George Clooney, a longtime friend of the family and Gerber’s partner in the Casamigos tequila brand, spoke about the loss. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the Albies on Friday, Clooney called it “one of the most devastating things that’s happened to our family.” He added, “And their family is just … as you can imagine.”
What the family has said
Presley Gerber died on September 20 at age 27. Shortly afterward, a family representative asked Page Six for “privacy during this very difficult and painful time.” Crawford and Gerber married in 1998 and have two children, Presley and daughter Kaia, 25. Just Jared notes that the official cause of death is listed as deferred while the investigation continues.
Neither Crawford nor Gerber has commented on the photos.
